One of the scariest videos ever produced about the beliefs and efforts of some Christians in our modern era.
A special thanks to atheistnation.net for providing this video.
DONT GIVE A RIFLE TO THESE KIDS
Seriously. They say you don't want to be near a mosque when they are finished worshipping in India. Think it can't happen here????
When I was undergoing my indoctrination, I had to say the Pledge of Allegience to the Bible and the Christian Nation at my Christian School. After a few weeks of that it suddenly stopped. Maybe someone complained ;)
Yes IG this is scary. If only by the final 15 minutes of the video when the woman in charge of this claimed that Democracy is doomed to fail because everyone is equal.
This video is not as scary as it is infuriating. To take children and indoctrinate into them this insane dogmatic rhetoric at such an early age is, for lack of a better word, @#%!ed up!! I am still aware that this particular brand of Christian fundamentalism speaks for a smaller percentage of the believers in total than the film wants the viewer to believe (but that does not make it any less sickening or infuriating).
Of course we cannot isolate such fanaticism to a wacky camp in podunk North Dakota. It is a splinter movement involving numerous unorganized outfits, but the ideologies are grossly similar. There needs to be more awareness of these groups so that the numbers do not multiply. Kids being force fed this nonsense while bypassing all critical thought is just wrong.
By the way, excellent product placement by Nestle in the hand washing scene!
Yeesh, children brainwashing other children, that is the craziest thing I've ever seen and what troubles me is what is going to happen if these kind of people get in some serious power.
It'll be like pouring petrol on a bonfire, we need to stop these people from doing this.
There is only one differance between the muslim extreeists and these people, they know how to colour something just enough to make it seem like its nothing.
Well, if the christians take over america, I'll join in the fight against them, because 'this' is as wrong as anything comes.
Interesting how Becky Fischer focuses so much in the beginning on the importance of fasting and not being "fat & lazy".
Then the speaking in tongues is interesting. Everyone is speaking in a different "language" it seems, and by the sounds of it the Holy Spirit speaks in a very repetitive way. It's suspiciously like semi-random babbling (it's impossible for humans to be completely random), as though they were just making it up. Also, I noticed that Becky Fischer, in common with many adult tongues-speakers, has "Hebrew" style tongues ("Aaah-Kohora-shakahalama-shamala..."), whereas the children have a less sophisticated form ("chicky-chicky-lililililalalalala"), almost as though they were all just making it up.
I like the way Becky Fischer modulates her voice to manipulate those kids. She knows just when to put an edge on it, when to talk down to them, when to come down to their level and use words like "awesome", when to raise her voice, and when to soften it so they really listen.
