This was so convincing I now believe in intelligent, magic, supernatural sky genies.
I wonder if these people believe the processes by which life undergoes reproduction, which is so horribly complex is must scare them, is governed every step by some invisible intelligent magic.
Now they’re talking about Seti and made the claim they’re looking for an intelligent signal in other galaxies. I don’t think Seti has even come close to exhausting its search in this galaxy let alone looking in other galaxies.
The problem with "intelligent design" is that it does not explain anything. It merely assumes that everything is created by comparing stuff we do not know about with stuff we do know about.
Which is exactly how religion "explains" things, but in fact it does not provide any answers.
It is like saying you know what colour t-shirt I am wearing right now, because you know what colour t-shirt someone else is wearing. At best it is just a guess, but you still don't know until you actually take a look.
The video is well done and a significant improvement over the creationists attempts with their 'wonderland' exhibits and the inane lectures by Ken Hovind. The main problem that they face in my opinion is that they have to replace the "we do not yet have the full explanation of how all the steps in evolution occurred" with "we do not have an explanation of how the intelligent designer evolved and how 'he' or 'she' intervened and constructed these machines". It is interesting that they are gradually accepting all the explanations of evolution as biologist provide the answers. Six days have extended to billions of years, and they have grudgingly accepted the evidence for intermediates in the tree of species. Their hang up is ... biologists have not provided the ultimate answers. To try to replace one unknown with another unknown is no contribution to human knowledge.
