Muslim Youths

Muslim youths are angry, frustrated and extremist because they have been
mis-educated and de-educated by the British schooling. They have been vicitm
of racism in all walks of life. They have been in a wrong place at a wrong
time.

Imams,Masajid and parents have tried their best to develop self-esteem and
emotional well being. They do not play any part in their anger.

Bilingual Muslim children need state funded Muslim schools with bilingual
Muslim teachers as role models.

They need to learn and be well versed in standard English to follow the
National Curriculum and go for higher studies and research to serve
humanity.

They need to learn and be well versed in Arabic, Urdu and other community
languages to keep in touch with their cultural roots and enjoy the beauty of
their literature and poetry.

Majority of ant-Muslim stories are not about terrorism but about Muslim
culture--the hijab, Muslim schools, family life and religiosity.

Muslims in the west ought to be recognised as a western community, not as an
alien culture.

Islam is not a race. Not even a religion. It is the cult of Mohammad.

Agreed.

In Islam Muslims do not need self esteem. They are slaves, submitting to Mohammad and Allah. No self esteem allowed. No thinking allowed.

But they do look, dress, and behave as an alien culture.

See? You said it: A Muslim culture. It is an alien culture in the west.

Until we all submit to Allah and change our culture to Muslim culture.
Give it time. Won't be long.

The problem is which Islam to chose? Sunni, Shi'ite, Wahhabis, Ahmadis, Alawites, Sufis, there are 150 sects now, at each others throats as who is the Real Muslim (TM).

One could get killed making the wrong choice.

Please advise.

They remind me of Christians, complaining that they're persecuted even as they build more places of worship and manage to make themselves seen and heard every chance they get, sometimes violently. And like the Christians, they are quickly dividing into numerous different denominations and sects, all in disagreement over who and what God really is and how God should be worshiped.

And unlike Christians, they bomb, maim, kidnap, convert by force, and wage war on non Muslims till the end of time.

Unless there is an equivalent to Quran 2:193, 8:60, 9:5, 9:29 in the bible. And still followed to the letter.

Moral equivalence? What a novel idea.

Do you see Christians blowing shit up daily all over the planet? Someone should have reported it.

Since 9/11 Muslims have perpetrated 11536 terror attacks. Body count and injured in tens of thousands.

How many Christian terror attacks have you seen reported in the same time period?

I didn't say they're ENTIRELY like Christians, I said they REMIND me of them. Doesn't that "Poor, pitiful me, I'm so persecuted" bullshit sound familiar? And while Christians don't blow up shit, we still have the likes of Fred Phelps, who probably WOULD blow up shit if he could get away with it. Muslims who can build mosques and be allowed to dress and worship however they please have no right to complain about persecution, just like Christians don't have that right when they have churches in every fucking neighborhood, Christian bookstores and gift shops, and even their own TV station to cater to their fucked-up spiritual needs. Get it?

ApostateLois merely enumerated the ways in which Christians and Muslims are alike. And on what he said, he was right. Never did he say that they were EXACTLY alike.

If the Muslims in the UK realised they have British passports and don't need to follow their "cultural roots" of backwardness and instead adopted a more British cultural outlook they would be fine.

The problem comes when at home they are told one thing and in school they are told another - no wonder they are confused!

Maybe Muslims in the west need to learn how to adapt to a secular culture.

Why do we all suddenly need to provide muslims with special amenities that other religious people don't get? Because they whine more? Western governments would go broke if they had to accomodate every religion's endless lists of the special treatment they want.

Salaam

London School of Islamics is an educational Trust. Its aim is to make
British public, institutions and media aware of the needs and demands of the
Muslim community in the field of education and possible solutions.

The demand for state funded Muslim schools is in accordance with the law of the land.

I do not blame the parents, Imams and Masajid for the plight of theMuslim youths. All Muslim youths suffer from identity crises because they find themselves cut off from their cultural roots, literature and poetry. All of them lack self-confidence and self-esteem. British education has made them stupid. They have become economic slaves of the British society. They do not know where they belong. They are unable to enjoy the beauty of their literature and poetry. A man is a product of his culture, language and faith. They go hand in hand.

The solution of all the problems is state funded Muslim schools with
bilingual Muslim teachers as role models right from nursery classes. The
Charter of Islam teaches true tolerance and equality and indeed is more
acceptable to all people of the world than the United Nation Human Rights
Charter. Islam does not just mean a beard, a cap and a bunch of
self-interpreted fatwas.

Accoding to a research by Goldsmiths, university of London, bilingual
learning can provide substantial benefits for second and third generation
children whose families speak a language other than English. Even when
children have grown up in the UK with English as their stronger
language, using both languages aids cognitive development and strengthens
their identity as learners. It is crucial that schools support c hildren's
mother tongue through bilingual learning activities connected with the
mainstream curriculum. Now Primary National Strategy recognises the value of
bilingualism and promotes early language learning. Policy makers need to
encourage good practice in schools, otherwise, the potential benefits of
bilingual leaning will be lost to future generations.

The research also discovered that many second and third generation children
are in danger of losing these skills if they do not have opportunities to
develop their mother tongue through academic work at school. Bilingual
children who learn in their family's language as well as English do better
at school. It is very important that parents continue to talk to their
children in their first language.

It is absurd to say that Muslim schools threaten the social cohesion of the
nation. Diversity is a blessing and we should feel proud of diversity. The
real threat to social cohesiondoes nt come from Muslim parents but from
government that seeks to force these parents to conform with the state's
ideas about how and what their children should be taught. There is no
evidence that Muslim schools are undermining social cohesion.

To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical. Muslims comprise less than 10% of the population. Why should the 90% pay for the 10% to have special treatment.

The answer is simple...if Muslims don't like the UK - LEAVE...no one has forced them to go there and no one would stop them leaving.

Peace.
