In our April Scientology cover story, we noted that the recent increase in Internet-based attacks on Scientology has led Church elders to up recruitment efforts in "communities less likely to have Web access," such as Central America and predominately black neighborhoods like Harlem. Judging by the Church's
recent acquisition
of a 64,000-square-foot castle in Johannesburg, you can now officially add South Africa to the list.

Wow that is pathetic and kind of sad but I guess is no better or worse then the annoying missionaries that travel the world trying to convert everyone. This is why I prefer religions that do not proselytize. |

mormon missionaries, christian missionaries, jehovah's witnesses, muslims and
now scientology missionaries
can have one huge clusterfuck together in the third world taking advantage of clueless peasants.
Maybe they'll be able to convince themselves they are actually helping people like the rest of them. Here's a present, now have faith in jesus/mohammed/hubbard. |

LOL maybe its the stress talking but I really want to go to Africa and teach people there how to tell the scientologists to "fuck off" in the missionaries native tongue. |

Set up some kind of charitable fund and i'll donate what I can to make your dream come true.
Thats not a bad idea actually though, anti-missionaries. Send skeptics, scientists, and atheists all over the world debunking the bullshit claims of missionaries everywhere. And while they're at it, perhaps they can explain to potential catholics in Africa and elsewhere that the religion they're flirting with doesn't care if they get aids. |
