OK, I've shrugged off the creepy thoughts. My question is, did any one find any laws that finds the older person as the victim? The concept of "Gold Diggers" is very common in today's society, but short of murder, I think it is legal everywhere in the USA. Isn't it strange that a person that is considered the victim by the majority of society not legally protected? |

I'm honestly not creeped out by this line of discussion. It seems though, that an honest discussion about the arbitrary age we place on an individual for when sex can become consensual does creep out the average human. I'm not sure why. Is it simply a social phenomenon, or does it go deeper then that? I think most people (men in particular) would be lying if they said they've never been sexually attracted to someone under the legal age. And why is it legally ok for two minors to go at like rabbits, but not with an "adult"? Perhaps we should devise a test to give individuals. If you pass, you can legally have consensual sex (age irrelevant). |
