I usted to be christian and i experienced all kind of weird stuff. I know they can be just imagination, but here are few things i just can't explain:
1) I had this computergame called "Black Mirror". There's some occultism in the end of the game, and God warned me about the game. It happened when the priest of my church prayed for me. He got this vision that i was playing a computergame that was unorthodox. I didn't even know that there was occultism in the end of that game. And i never told anyone that i had that game, or that i was playing computergame of any kind, because i don't usually play any computergames, and my friends know that. So how could a normal man like my priest know that i was playing that game, when nobody knew it. And if you try to say that he can read my mind (which sounds stupid), i definitely didn't think about that game by the time he prayed for me.
2) My friend's sister said that "God doesn't exist", and right away their medicine cabinet flew across the room and fell to the floor. COINCIDENCE?
3) My friend HAD coeliac disease. And there is no cure for coeliac. It was healed when a priest prayed for her. And by that time, she didn't even believe in God. So you can't say that she was healed because she believed that she will be healed.
I know it's hard to belive in these kind of stories, but i swear all this really happended. So PLEASE try to give an reasonable explanation to these "miracles" (if you can)
And sorry about my bad english.

There are perfectly natural explanations for these events. Using Occam’s razor, we should go to the simplest explanation.
Why make the leap to the supernatural, which explains nothing?

What do you mean by using Occam’s razor? Can you explain by using it how the priest knew about the game?

I have no idea, lucky guess? Over heard you mention it? Some one who knows you game talked to him about it, maybe a concerned relative?
Who knows? But he is not psychic. Maybe Psychotic...but not psychic.

Occam's Razor:
From en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occam's_razor
Quote:
In short, when given two equally valid explanations for a phenomenon, one should embrace the less complicated formulation.

Like i told, nobody but me knew about it. I never spoke a word about it to anyone. I know it's hard to believe but that's the fact. Conclusion: There must be a God... right?

Mr. Christian, if the other explanation for these phenomenons are that "God did it", what are the others, less complicated explanations to my stories?

Why would an all powerful, all knowing god use such stupid shit to convince you he is real?
My father was convinced that god was real by a freaking door slamming shut in the wind because it had a latch that was hard to lock!
Another guy on Reggie's site was convinced when a certain type of car painted a certain way that popped into his mind shortly before he saw it on the highway!
Another was convinced when a squeaky ceiling fan stopped squeaking when he thought of god.
How far is it a reach that this guy had a dream and it was about video gamers and he substituted you for it in conversation?
Shit he could have used that on a dozen kids your age and been right on the money!
If you want to use stupid shit to justify the existence of god that is great, but look at the arguments on this site and you will see time after time after time that it is beyond rational to accept such ridiculous events as justification for god.
How do you know it was your god? not a demon? Not Allah? Not Zeus?
Can you test it and falsify it?
Use your head, there is no reason to get superstitious.

god is not a simple explanation.. heh.
cuz if you say 'god'... explain 'god' to me. then you'll understand why he/she is not a simple explanation.
that's kind of the brainwashing that many people are growing up with today. they dont even understand what all entails the god concept...

Hypothetical...
It's possible there might be some natural mechanism whereas one might perceive another’s thoughts without vocalization. It's possible someone in the position of a "priest" might be more in-tune with this natural process.
or...
It's possible the person in question knew you liked computer gaming. Many of these games include such content. He just assumed you might be subjected to such content.
200-years-ago if struck by lightning you’d be most likely to blame that probability on a god. Now we understand, given the right atmospheric conditions, what the natural probability of being struck by lightning is.

The answer is - "God did it". Just because you don't like the answer doesn't mean it isn't true.

How do you know the priest prayed for you? Did he confront you about it? Did you confess and then he said, "yeah, I knew you were dabbling in the occult so I prayed for you"?

Are you saying you saw this cabinet fly across the room? Coincidence? As if the cabinet flying across the room in the absence of the ""god doesn't exist" statement would not require explanation. I don't believe this happened, though. Medicine cabinets don't "fly." I think you've been fooled somehow. No offense; I've been fooled a time or two, myself.
By the way, I just said "god doesn't exist" and nothing happened. If god did parlor tricks every time someone doubted or denied him, the world would be filled with flying medicine cabinets. I like what baddogma said: why would god do stupid shit to show he exists??? Is god no better than a magician?

If your friend does not have coeliac disease now, then she was apparantly misdiagnosed in the first place. Anyway, with all the people who try to get healed religiously in this world, occasionally someone will have their disease clear up at about the same time they have a laying on of hands or a prayer or whatever. When god cures all the sick children of the world, prevents childhood diseases in the first place, then great--I might be tempted to believe. As long as he is curing diseases that can be controlled through diet, giving up gluten or sugar or whatnot, and throwing cabinets across rooms, then why bother with him--he's just a hack.

Just because you're sentimentally attached to the answer doesn't mean it's true. I could just as easily say the Flying Spaghetti Monster did it, but I'd be saying nothing. I’d be more accurate saying, if any of these occurrences you mentioned actually happened, everyone has a perfectly natural explanation you’re unwilling to consider because you’re blinded by the emotional need for supernatural ones. This is an age old archetype of the human mind.

"Just because you're sentimentally attached to the answer doesn't mean it's true"
OOooOOooo!!
"How do you know the priest prayed for you? Did he confront you about it? Did you confess and then he said, "yeah, I knew you were dabbling in the occult so I prayed for you"? "
the other thing to remember too is there is a great movement (always has been) that teenagers are getting involved in occultic shit a lot more often then ever before in history. he prolly read a christian magazine article about it, and was like 'whoa, i should pray for the teenagers in this church".
now, if he never knew you whatsoever, and didnt know your name and said specifically "god please help Joe Shmo with the specific occult thingy, k?" thatd be interesting.
