Without evidence, there can be no belief, except maybe in the local mental institute.
Now,
Either there is evidence for God, or there is no evidence.
If there is evidence, then that means there is also God.
I am talking about talking about proper evidence, a proof of God.
If such an evidence exists, then you can be SURE about God.
Therefore, it is possible to attain CERTAINTY about God.

A couple of questions before we get started.
1. Are you happy to abide by the rules of Logic & Rhetorical Argumentation?
To explain a little, this is the sub-forum of that name and therefore we should both abide by the formal rules of Logical Argument. To make sure that neither of us cheat and call something "logical" that isn't, there are clearly laid down rules of Argument to be found here...

Finally Ray, this isn't about "winning" or 'losing" an argument. It's about finding out what's true and what isn't. Macho BS has no place in Logical Argument. It won't help you find out what's true and, if you believe you already know the truth, it won't help you prove it. If you don't care about the truth and only want to inflate your ego by whipping my ass, that's fine by me. Don't blame me if you can't cut it. Remember, you're actually not taking me on at all - you're taking on something much bigger. The truth.
