Acharya has laid out this suggestion in her writing and I feel that she's made a correct association.
The way that the priests specifically wrote the emergence of Yahweh in the context of Moses being in the desert with the burning bush gives much of this away.
It puts the story around Egypt, where Isis, the "first and last" Goddess who declares that she is all that ever "was, is, or will ever be" came from. Here the priests are transferring this well known Egyptian mystery tradition into their own religious structure and leaving behind what appears to be very strong clues as to what has happened right in the context of the storyline.
I have no choice but to respect scepticism towards making this association, as I feel that it's always important to scrutinize these sort of claims as well. It's just that I honestly feel that this a correct association to make from what I've read thus far on the issue. |
