Read the news storry too to add in on how idiotic their story is. But the main issue starts on page 159 when the usual Bs : Prayer isn't effective? How can you say that?
Now the fundy drivel starts, "One true god" Crap and now they come out of the wood work.
Ok not over whelmed, but I'm sure others will have a nicer method then I. |

Actually as a fellow life form I have every right to question your logic and what ground you base your world model on, just as you have every right to do the same. Faith deserve no free ride & has earned no free ride. If you actually put action to making this world better then no, praying will not hurt, but if thats the only thing you do, then yes it is hurting, because rather then taking action, your just moving air in lieu of taking action. |
I am a civilized human being, a good mother to my children a good wife to my husband, i am not selfish in any way, I remember the misfortuned and if I could, I would do more to help, but my god tells me to pray for the unfortunate, I can not save the world, nor am I trying to make the world believe in my faith. I am stating that there is nothing that can make me a better person then how I live my life. I care for my children, my family and I will never question ones faith like you do and I would appreciate it if you just stop. No one hear is bashing you for not having faith.
You know my mom used to say you have to believe in something or you'll fall for anything
. So with that statement made, tell me how dumb are you?
Well How many times have we seen this falacy? |

you know you really are just that dumb, I am now gonna have to pray for the willingness to pray for you. I once just able to pray for you, now I need the willingness to do so.
God, please Grant me the willingness to pray for the dumb, like "NOTHING FAILS LIKE PRAYER"

ahh..lame! Sorry I missed the fun. I went to the page but didn't see the discusssion you were in. Oh wow, I didn't realize her mom started this quote: "you have to believe in something or you'll fall for anything. "
So, it doesn't matter what I believe in as long as I believe in something. So I don't fall for anything. Sweet, I've always wanted to believe in minature naked green haired trolls that come out at night and sing songs in my ears while I sleep. Now, that I believe in that I won't fall for anything anymore. Like the truth. |

Would you abort a fetus if it had a gay gene?
http://www.topix.net/forum/news/gay/TANMH0SL4CH6PFDKA
Now there is the ultimate paradox for a fundy! Gay = evil, abortion = evil
Abort evil gay fetus and sin? or give birth and sin by giving birth to a gay fetus?
I can just imagin their brains mealting in illogic!
Too many threads to ammuse ones self. |
