CENTEROFBAPTISTWORSHIP, it's not my intent to cast you negatively and I'm sorry if you feel that way. My intent is to correct the allegations concerning the Columbine massacre. I have done so in the past and shall continue do so in the future. There are those (I'm not saying you) who would use this terrible event to imply or express that if someone is an atheist (no evidence whatsoever), or like listening to Marilyn Manson, or were taught evolution, or gay (no evidence they were), or wear a black trench coat will somehow drive one toward becoming a mass killer. Hopefully correcting misconceptions surrounding this horrible event can help predict and prevent future occurrences. Source listing common myths as assessed from the investigation

It's true neither you or I were present at Columbine during the shootings. However, there are eyewitnesses and their statements, as they should, prevail over any speculation.

It's been claimed that one of the victims, Cassie Bernall, was asked if she believed in God and that she was killed when she said yes. According to a witness the only thing Cassie's killer said before ending her life was to say "Peek-a-boo". Source: "Who Said Yes"

Valeen Schnurr was asked if she believed in God. This came out during an interview with CNN on the anniversary of this tragedy. The complete transcript of the program is here: CNN .
Valeen is very much alive.

It's legends like this that give birth to religions...

Two true stories were combined to make one false one that serves an agenda.
