on another forum I posted something about the 6 story Jesus being struck by lightning already discussed on this forum a couple of weeks ago

I made a joke about it possibly being Allah's doing and it really pissed of a muslim poster here's how it went down.....
daredevil-6 story jesus statue struck by lightning, wow was it allah perhaps
angry muslim-i have been debating, not wanting to acknowledge this ignorant post, nevertheless maybe someone else's ignorance will be lightened if i do...

you know you dont have to BELIEVE in anyone's religion, but if you want to make jokes about it at least have some background in what you are talking about...maybe you will say something funny next time.
daredevil-your entire quran is as full of faults as is the new and old testaments, and do not asume i don't know anything about your religion, I know it is the newest of the montheistics and the most in error as are all three, you can't claim the quran is the final revelation when rev 22 18 of the nt says there wont be anymore....and thats only the begining

daredevil-I would be glad to but all u r gunna reply with is "you must use the original language, to get the proper interpretation" then I will say why would allah want to reveal the final revolation to man but only in one specific language, the entire arguementb is as stupid as kjv only advocites
angry muslim-you apparently didnt know that Jesus is considered a prophet which makes your joke meaningless. that is all i was trying to point out. where then is the humor? become a better joke teller.
daredevil-of course I know Jesus will return soon to tell us Mohammad is the only true prophit,and how respected Mary is by islam,infact the quran mentions her more then the christian bible, so the only one assuming anything is your dumb ass

DD, I really don't think you have to keep us posted: there are some people who get offended whenever another person turns around, or blinks an eye. But if you have a specific question, go ahead.

okay i am now being attacked from more then one person on philosophy forum aka abletoknow forum, for that one comment about Allah, I assumed it being a philosophical atmosphere it would be more opened minded...can ya'll please tell me after reading the back and forth between me and angry Muslim if I am in the wrong? should I even care..
they are starting to call me a dick head over there so I have responded with this...
I did not mean to offend anyone here with my question about Allah possibly striking down the Jesus statue but was simply wondering how anyone that follows and believes any of the big 3 monotheistics would explain it. but again all we have proven here with this entire fight is once again RELIGION IS HATE

I found the thread and read it through. Interesting, if a bit off course at times.
I think that your analysis of Josh-the-Islamist* is correct. For him, religion is hate, and he really seems to like it that way. Some people have weird kinks. Perhaps it is best to just walk a wide arc around those people. If only we could give them a bell to ring, so we may know to avoid their presence.
The others may have been offended by your diversion into
ad hominem,
a course which you nobly corrected.
