If someone asked me to name the top ten countries involved in Stem Cell research Iran wouldn't even have crossed my mind.

I'm glad the knowledge base will continue to grow despite events in america shitting on it. I hope it grows into a pride for their country, would be a nice change.

This is good news. At least Iran is progressing in embryonic stem cell research. Too bad the evangelicals in the US are holding us back. But hopefully that will change very soon.

I'm not impressed with Iran's unrestricted stem cell research.

I think in Islam, they don't believe that the soul enters the zygote at conception.

That's probably a key factor in why they are okay with the research.
