I'd Vote No.Alcohol is For Adults and Not Necessary for Kids.Let kids be kids.Minors haven't developed the Judgement yet to understand the responsibility that goes with drinking. Also, I don't have any confidence in Adults to Monitor their kids drinking.Far more Harm than Good would be done.IMHO.

Being an adult doesn't automatically make you do the right thing. There are countless alcoholics in the world.

I'm not saying minors should drink, but saying adults are less likely to become addicted simply because they are older is very narrow-minded.

In my opinion, alcohol is for no one. How anyone can enjoy imbibing that awful-tasting stuff and then wake up the next morning feeling like absolute crap is beyond me...but if they want to do it, I won't stop them. I won't try to save people from their own stupidity.

Same can be said for drugs.

I don't see alcoholic drinks as things used only for their intoxicating effects. There are many responsible drinkers out there. Furthermore, drinks like wine and beer have a cultural element to them. Wine for example, is celebrated in southern European countries such as France, Italy, and Spain. They tend to view alcohol, particularly wine, as a vital part of their cultural identity. However, many, particularly the French, view excessive consumption with distaste and repulsion. Getting drunk is a social taboo. Why can't we emulate this attitude?

Doing something just a little bit is hard for Americans.
