It's a shame that getting a group Atheists together is like trying to herd cats. Do you think there will ever be enough conviction in non-believers to make an "atheist days" work?
I know I'd buy a ticket if I were in the area.
I feel the root of the problem is in that atheism isn't, in itself, a reason for celebration. This supercedes the reason to meet with others of similiar beliefs, or lack there of.
Most "closet atheists" aren't so because they're afraid. They simply don't care enough about non-belief to be any sort of activist.. |
