It would have to happen on Easter Sunday, wouldn't it, that the 4,000th American soldier would die in Iraq. Play me that crazy preacher again, will you, about how maybe God, in all his infinite wisdom, may not exactly be blessing America these days. Is anyone surprised?
4,000 dead. Unofficial estimates are that there may be up to 100,000 wounded, injured, or mentally ruined by this war. And there could be up to a million Iraqi dead. We will pay the consequences of this for a long, long time. God will keep blessing America.
And where is Darth Vader in all this? A reporter from ABC News this week told Dick Cheney, in regards to Iraq, "two-thirds of Americans say it's not worth fighting." Cheney cut her off with a one word answer: "So?"
Pardon Me for adding my 2¢. If you read on in "So?..." you'll find Mr Moore mention God for just a bit. (Its really quite interesting.) But its this God dimension of the Iraq war that just pisses me off!! I've never supported this war/occupation, but if this administration had been straight with us and said,'This is about oil'. I could have respected it, even though I would not have agreed with it. But that is not the way this war was sold. This war is frankly rooted in the Book of Revelations and all that end times crap, in a lot of believer's minds. And because of that belief in Yahweh the invisible critter, I can't help thinking that this war is that much more vicious, that much more savage. Thats why for me the milestone of 4000 dead and thousands more injured is so bitter. I know I am not saying anything new, I just needed to say it. Thank you for your attention.

Why should President Bonzo care what Americans think? He's going to do whatever the hell he wants to and nobody is going to stop him. Doesn't matter how many people die needlessly, so long as it makes him feel like his balls are growing bigger with every missile fired and every civilian or soldier killed. I'll be glad when he's out of office, although by now the damage has been done.
