I myself didn't know my ass for a hole in the ground at that age and I am damn sure glad at 41 I didn't have any kids at all.
So Sarah, being the good parent would rather dictate to her daughter to save face, than to do the right thing, help her raise her daughter, and not force the two to get married. In fact, I would discourage it, even if they claimed they loved each other. What teen in America knows what they want at that age? We are all a bunch of raging hormones at that age.

I don't know the details of this particular pregnancy, but it looks to me like another case of 'just say no' gone wrong. Did the potential vice-president's daughter realise that sex may produce a baby? Did she know about contraception? Just why does a women in the 21st century western world get pregnant unintentionally? To me this smacks of poor parenting, based upon poor xian ethics.

Long time hear no evil. I missed you. In any case, that is a weak case at best, if we are to take it at face value, you would be right in that it is against the law.
But, having been a mere judge in a highschool competition(forensics) the year after I graduated, I judged my former competitors from other schools. The looks on their faces when they saw me was one of shock, "He's gonna get even with me"
I am not presuming guilt on this one although it can be construed as such. But even in court cases(as an example) although the default is for a judge to recuse themselves for a conflict of interest, it isn't always nesesary.
I suspect given the face value of what has been reported, one could make a case for conflict of interest, but on any given issue reported by both left and right media, one has to take it with a grain of salt.
I am a big proponent of "presumption of innosence(sp)" especially in this case because the people who are accusing her of this may merely have an axe to grind, WHICH could have been avoided by her not stepping in.
I am not taking her side nor am I assuming her guilt on the cop issue. I can see it happening, but I can also see the other side slinging mud because it was a family issue.
But rest assured I am NOT voting for her simply because she has a vagina. I am not voting for her at all in any case and not because she has a vagina. I am not voting for her because the republican party wants to turn the clock back to colonial pre Revolutionary theocracy.
