Good News: Reggie is ok. Bad news: Computer is toast.

Hi folks- this is ChrisJ, Reggie's producer here. IG called tonight to let me know that he is ok physically but suffered some severe damage to his equipment during the storms. One of the main computers that powers the show was fried and some of the other equipment as well. Reggie is scrambling
to get another machine and put things together for this Thursday, so please feel free to post him a word of support. Reggie did not solicit this- but if anybody has a fairly fast computer they might want to donate I'm sure he could use this also. Hopefully he'll be back up and running within a couple days, but I'll update you if that changes.
Thanks so much everyone for listening and supporting the show. We have some great stuff coming up that I think everybody will enjoy.

If it is any consolation to him, I can't do it now, but I get 3 paychecks next month, I will be sending him a donation.

But, the most important thing is that he isn't swirling above Kansas. Glad he is ok.

I'm borrowing this crappy loner from Rent-A-Center. My drives are all laying on the counter here.. and I have no way to accessing the data right now. So last weeks show will lay there until I can extract it. I will try to simply copy all of the data over to a compatible drive in the next few days if I can get some local help. hint hint. Any computer pros in the area?

Reggie has spent the past 10 years opening doors for atheists and other websites and best selling books would not be mainstream if it were not for pioneers like Reggie and Jake who started the Atheist Network which spawned the Infidel Guy website and other atheist websites.

I doubt that Pete Stark, the first open Atheist congressman would have opened up if it hadn't been for the years of advocacy of Reggie and the Atheist Network.

He has made a difference. Now it is up to us to help keep him on air so that he can continue to bring reason to the web and help more and more people question superstition.

Do what you can. It doesn't have to be a budget buster, just what you feel you can afford. Skip a movie and fast food meal. Skip buying that new CD. Maybe you can send part of your Bush bribe tax rebate to Reggie.

Bottom line is that he helped open the doors for godless Americans and atheists worldwide. Lets show him our thanks by helping him keep going.

You better help him out or I will personally come to your house AND MAKE YOU SMELL MY DIRTY SOCKS! Believe me my smelly socks are worse than being forced to listen to a Pat Robertson sermon.
