Going into MC in a week and a half or so. Working on some fire rez gear, not too enthusiactic about it though as the FR gear outside of the 40 mans are not thrilling for a mage who is all about the big damage numbers.
Farming ZG, got Kurrinax, Rajaxx, Moam, Ayamiss and Buru in AQ20 (last two are tough)

Meh.. all of my characters are on Emerald Dream (Alliance) or Lightninghoof (Horde).

well, alot actually. i didnt bother contesting my bans either cuz i was getting bored... but, i was able to do a shitload of lag cheats and instance cheats. but i got banned for 'third party' programs. botting. heh. go figure, after cheating all this time, i get banned fer botting.
but yae, didnt care. no biggy. i dont miss wow at all. might get a game card in a few months to play again.

Frost or fire mage? If you're fire speced don't expect to do much damage with fire in MC, in fact, you'll probably do more with frost or arcane even if you're not speced that way. You really don't need much FR gear (as a mage) before Rag, and you can even survive Rag with little fire gear using pots and shielding (fire ward and ice barrier for the frost mage). The trick with Rag, especially as a mage is don't stand near anyone, make sure to have some bandaids ready for spot heals, and get a nice warlock to make you a health stone or two.
Most of the fights in this instance are about spacing, especially on trash mobs.

My guild is running BWL in one night now, and we're taking alts through MC. We're messin with Naxx and AQ40, but we're really not too serious about it. I doubt these two instances will be highly important after the Xpack comes out anyway, and honestly, I don't think the tier 3 and 4 gear is much better then T2 gear for mage, which I have a full set of now.

I just started while they were doing a free trail. Screwing around with different classes on the new server Koralstrasz. Ended up playing with my Elf Druid, Elf Rogue and Elf Hunter more often then not. Nothing above lvl10 yet though. (I'll prob put Horde chars on a different server myself).
What servers are the rest of you on.

in my humble opinion, one cannot get a really good feel for a class until at least level 20. 20 seems to be the real point of maturity for most classes...

i had every class up to almost 30, and yea, i would say though.. 25-ish is when you start really getting into the uniqueness of every class. my 60s were a shaman and hunter. hunters are just plain fun.

I spend all my time on Kilrogg (alliance characters), most of it consumed by guild play.

I'm heavy frost spec - 44 frost 7 Arc which I like immensely. I have about 100 in FR gear in the bank right now. I could do with grinding on incendious for FR bindings and Rend for dragon rider boots, that and a couple of enchants and I think I'll be able to get away with it. I picked up the marli wand fron ZG on Sunday and a mage voodoo doll which has only dropped twice for our guild out of 20 or so ZG runs. Looking forward to getting some nice tier 1 gear, I hate the look of the illusionist robe, I need to change that one really fast.
Something else I started with this weekend and it has been an obscene amoutn of fun. I have a hunter which had just sneaked in to lvl 19 so a bunch of us From Cloud Nine are twinking out some toons for WSG so I have been working on him and rumming WSG like a crazy dude. Damn it's fun. I have my hunter up to 953 health unbuffed which has made a huge difference from the 733 that I started with. I think I'll be able to get to 1050 without too much trouble but then it is going to get trickier. I picked up the searing blade and I need to farm the venomstrike bow in WC. After that I have the Sentry Cloak on my list, the deviate belt and a set of legs and shoulders I think from WC also. Been having a lot of success in WC winning about 70% and we have not had a full 10 man pre made or had more than 4 on vent at one go. I usually stay on defence in the flag room put my cat in the middle of the room and shadowmeld in the corner where I can see all three entrances. Warlocks and priests give me fits but just about anything else I can handle. I do need to work on cat training though, not sure what to do about that.
