you mean another failed attempt. We are in the age of reason and science. There is no going back. |

tell that to Galileo... and be sure to mention Eratosthenes.

over a thousand years of science and progress lost to the human race due to religious dogma.
EDIT: and when the religious zealots decide to use a nuclear weapon or twelve to destroy everything they can, or to incite a real nuclear exchange, we'll all be thrown back to the Stone Age.. if we're lucky. They could possibly be the cause of the extinction of the human race.

I dig you. Lumping evolution with origin theory is a bit of overkill. Fortunately, I think most people reckognize that and thus they remain on the fringe. |

No those guys are dead. Go tell Hawkins and Dawkins of another failed attempt. They will probably yawn. Dawkins will probably write a book about it. |

Fundamnetalists may grumble about science, but they too recognize it as having won the battle a long time ago. The proof is things like ID. If science was not the standard currency of belief, IDers would not be trying to make their religious views seem scientific. |
