I am listening to the "interview" and "discussion" with Charlie and I am saddened to see how a so called Free Thinker could even have such a view. Now there was a poster on this forum that tried to expose him because of him wearing a cross. That is not proof of someone being theistic, by the way. i still wear my Egyptian jewelry but I am a free thinker. The problem with Charlie is his Conspiracy theories and him not being able to formulate logical arguments. His problem is probably that he is really is attracted to men, but is afraid of that attraction. He wants to PROVE he is not a homosexual, or at least bi curious. I think he is still an atheist, but all atheist are not completely logical in their thinking. Charlie is an example of an illogical thinking atheist. One would have to wonder how he even arrived to being atheist. The guy really needs help. He needs counselling and medication.

Sure. It doesn't take a genius to realize that the notion of god is highly improbable.
Thinking
is the next step that many just don't make it to.
However I do not think that Charlie needs medication, despite my having recently recommended it for another forum user (of sorts).
See here.
There is a
big
difference between Troy and Charlie. If (if) Troy has issues with mental illness, then medication
may
be part of an answer for him. On the other hand, Charlie is just stupid… and (sadly, perhaps) you can't just go around doping up the stupid. (Aldous Huxley might argue that we as a society do indeed do this, but that is another argument.)
An intervention that might serve Charlie the best is a good kick in the pants. He is being morally lazy, if you will. If he put his thinking before his talking, then he might just see the stupidity in the fear or whatever it is that leads him to his moronic convictions.

Have you seen the pics on his Myspace? He may be dealing with his own sexuality in this weird way.

This was the only show that I couldn't listen to all the way through. I loved the Dr. though. I was glad he was brought back for the Christian Privilege show.
As a truly bisexual woman (someone who has meaningful romantic relationships to both men and women) I have learned not to see or hear the hatemongers. I know what people think, but I don't care. Yes, I've accidentally hit on a straight woman or a gay man, and yes I was sad that a relationship was not possible. But to say I'm trying to convert people to be with me is laughable. I'm with the Doc when he said there are enough people in the LGBT community to get with. We don't need to "convert" straight people and have no desire to.

it was very painful when it was live, but also soooo intriguing as to what the guy was going to say next..... and the show was extended because he was such a tool.
I will always remember this show, like I will always remember Kent Hovind's appearances.
