rayback, apparently the one who does not know their facts is you. Things can come from nothing... virtual particles pop in and out of existence all of the time, and giving an infinite amount of time...
Also, would Stephen Hawking be one of those top scientists that believes in a god? Oh, sorry, he mentioned that because there is such thing as gravity, the universe can create itself from nothing.
