Why are Church and State to be Separated?

The reason church and state are suppose to be separated is because the state is corrupted and only a theocracy is just with Jesus as the Head of it.

Yes I can. I refer this argument to Hawking. Even if there were a first cause creator skydaddy god, you cannot prove it is the god of the bible without faith.

You know it is the God of the Bible because Jesus proved it by His resurrection and fulfilling prophecies from centuries before which is impossible unless He is God.
