Where have I lied. To the best of my knowledge with a clear conscience before God I have not lied and you haven't shown that I have. And certainly if I did I would have repented.

Hell is needed because you can't go where the saved are going. The Bible defines a Christian, so you are not a Christian if you reject it, but you are a non-Christian. Don't misperceive the torture in hell to be like the torture on earth, but it is rather, a spiritual and eternal separation from God, just like we have to lock people up in jail for life-this is the closest analogy I can give you. This is torturous to the person, but necessary for the benefit of the rest of the people.

You lie again.

Jason Harvestdancer showed you very clearly in this thread:

http://infidelguy.com/ftopic-1099-90-days0-orderasc-.html

where you bore false witness against him, on several occasions.

Now you compound your sin with more lies!

I don't need hell. Who says I can't go? You say god gave me free will, well, I want to exercise it to go with the saved. Or are you saying that I don't have free will?

Where does the bible define this? Why does the definition change between old and new testaments? Why were some books excluded from the bible?

So it's torture. Whether physical, mental or spiritual it's torture. Stop trying to justify your gods sadism.

So it's torture. So you support torture for the greater good. So do you support Nazi concentration camps when they were used to torture those who rejected Christ?

You have said that you support torture, and that you support torture for those who choose to remain apart from god, so you must, by extension, do so.[/url]

Nothing in your link showed I lied, otherwise you could show it.

You will go to hell if you reject the salvation of Christ.

The law of the OT was to point to Christ for the new dispensation of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

The torture you speak of is not like the torture here on earth.

A Christian in the Bible is someon who believes in the uncreated Creator, that Jesus is God, He died on the cross for your sins and was resurrected to give eternal life. Jesus spoke on Hell more than anyone else so you can be sure it is real; to reject it is not Christian, but to reject what Jesus said. Remember, there are more false Christians out there than there are Christians.

But it is still torture, and therefore punishment. Your god is sadistic and vain for imposing himself on his creations, demanding worship, and threatening with eternal suffering those who don't obey him. Your god is like a sadistic parent, and is clearly what MockingGods likes to call an "anthropomorphic projection of the human mind".

It's because he knows he's wrong, but can't bring himself to admit it. He's tied himself in knots claiming "god" is "more infinite" (whatever that is supposed to mean) than anything else, whilst at the same time repeatedly breaking the central tenets of his proclaimed faith.

Even an unintelligent designer wouldn't create something that bigoted, I think he's a great example of Darwinian evolution - obviously the result of a restricted gene pool...

(And the funny thing is, if he disagrees with this last paragraph he will AGAIN be contradicting his own proclaimed faith because he would be recognising evolution rather than divine creation!

Similarly his argument for the 'progression of conscience', when he meant 'consciousness' is also contrary to his proclaimed faith because to suggest that anything god created is flawed and requires evolutionary change to improve is blasphemous!)

Hypocrisy in action.

Any torture is depraved and you are actually sick enough to believe it's necessary. If your god was real certainly it would be smart enough to simply wink these deviants out of existence rather then torturing them eternally. This is an ill-conceived disgusting concept even most humans wouldn't allow.

Well said, MockingGods. The only reason for the existence of hell would be to satisfy god's sick desire for punishment.
