REGINALD V. FINLEY SR

For 9 years, Reginald Vaughn Finley, Sr has astounded the freethought community via his webcast at http://www.infidelguy.com.  Reginald is more well known as "The Infidel Guy" or I.G. and has been very active in freethought activism for 9 years.

Mr. Finley is a graduate of the Atlanta Broadcast Institute where he received his broadcast certification May 15th, 2003. He is the founder of Readallthebible.com and AtheistForums.com, and over 12 other websites. Reggie is also co-founder of The Atheist Network (http://www.atheistnetwork.com), a site which fosters a growing community of atheists lead by Jake.

Who says there aren't any atheists in foxholes? Mr. Finley has been in a variety of overseas missions as a US Army infantryman and received an honorable discharge as well as a multitude of awards. Mr. Finley is also an ex-Federal law enforcement officer and is a novice genealogical researcher.

Mr. Finley has published articles about his past experiences as a "Psychic" while working for The Psychic Network. He is periodically published in various freethought magazines, newspapers, and newsletters throughout the world as well as makes frequent appearances on syndicated radio shows debunking psychics, encouraging science understanding and expressing his ideas on religion.

"The Infidel Guy" is known internationally. His websites receive over 1,000,000 visitors a month. He currently operates out of his home and does his own production and direction of the Infidel Guy Video Project and  The Infidel Guy. The conference is entitled, "Science & Religion: Are They Compatible", This event will feature Daniel Dennett, Patricia Churchland, Eugenie Scott, Antony Flew, and many others. The Infidel Guy will be appearing in a panel discussion with Norm Allen Jr. (AAH) The talk is entitled African Americans: Religion & Science. My presentation is 20MIN. Over 500 people showed up to listen.

No, we are not anti-god here. Most users here simply don't believe in a God. If you own a Christian website does that automatically make you anti-nonChristian? There are many Christians and other believers enjoying themselves and learning along with us each day. I do not promote hate at all on my website. If one listens to the program, they will see that I am mostly promoting critical thought, understanding and tolerance. All believers are welcome provided you treat us respectfully. Mike Jarsulic is a 2002 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at
Johnstown and received a B.S. in Computer Science. Upon finishing his
education in 2001, Mike began working as a network integrator for small
businesses in the Pittsburgh area. In 2004, he took a position as an
information scientist at the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory. Currently,
he is leading a software team focused on developing tools to post
process and visualize thermal hydraulic engineering data. His other
scientific interests include computer security, cryptography, genetic
programming, and statistics.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys reading, exercise, and keeping up with the
latest happenings in mixed martial arts and Major League Baseball. He
currently trains in both Taijutsu-gen Karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in

Hi, My name is Gene Shinai and I live in the great (and thankfully
relatively godless) Northwest. My slide out of Christianity started
when a family member took me to see a faith healer at age 11, for
Cerebral Palsy. The experience left me very angry for at least a year.
But despite that I considered myself a christian until my late 20's
when I discovered Buddhism. Today I can be found hanging out with some
very nice Unitarian-Universalists for the community.

So what is a UU/ Buddhist doing Volunteering for The Infidel Guy
posting atheist related news items? Well in my opinion the world is
suffering from a toxic over abundance of religion. Atheism in my view,
provides a welcome and needed dose of clarity and reason to the average
person's life.

Adam Hogan (godlessfather) is a speech-language pathologist/assistive
technology support specialist working with school-aged children in the
southern Texas area.  He spent nine years as a strong Charismatic
Christian on his way to full-time ministry and believed that he was
called to be a "Prophet to the Nations".  Working with children with
severe communication disorders often accompanied by very debilitating
conditions drove Adam to frequently pray for a loving god to heal his
students and greatly contributed to a life-changing "deconversion"
experience one morning during prayer in mid-December 2007.  Finding The
Infidel Guy Show shortly thereafter, he's been looking for a way to help
and, along with Wrinkles, he founded the irc.freenode.net/#infidelguy
IRC channel in May 2009 after ustream's chat floundered.  He currently
runs ig-bot on our channel and has equipped it with Bible and Qur'an
searching and quoting capabilities, among other things.
