Religion: Man Asks Court to Change his name to ''In God We Trust''.
Posted on Tuesday, May 06, 2008 @ 01:31:54 CDT by Shinai_Gene

Blog
ZION, Ill. - Steve Kreuscher wants a judge to allow him to legally change his name. He wants to be known as “In God We Trust.”

Kreuscher says the new name would symbolize the help God gave him through tough times.

The 57-year-old man also told the Arlington Heights Daily Herald he’s worried that atheists may succeed in removing the phrase “In God We Trust” from U.S. currency.

Seriously? This guy has to have more than a few marbles missing if he really wants to rename hiself after a phrase, on that couldn't be further from the truth. Oh well, let him change it, but only if it gets removed from the dollar bills/coins. Then we could be spared the indignity of having someone's namesake on our currency. We get looked down upon by the other enlightened nations as it is.
