Debate: Panel Discussion on Beliefs in The Black Community
Posted on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 @ 09:47:09 CST by infidelguy

News
On February 19th, 2008. I will be participating in a LIVE event about Atheism, Christianity and Islam. It's a Panel Discussion regarding spiritual choices in the Black community and how and why one choses those perspectives.

This event is sponsored by a Reinhardt College in Waleska, GA. Reinhardt is a Methodist College and this is the first event of it's kind at the college.

The participants will be:

Myself, of course, representing, Skepticism, Defining atheism and Philosophical Naturalism. Imam Plemon T. El-Amin, representing Islam, and Reverend M.G. McGill, representing Christianity. This is a moderated discussion.

The event will begin at: 6PM and will end at 7:30PM.

Questions will be allowed by the audience.

If you wish to record this event, please contact me beforehand so that we can get the college's permission. They seem open to the idea.

Thanks.

Hello again! I was beginning to think you fell off the earth, Reg.

Good luck in the panel.

I will be interested in seeing the results of this discussion. More should be done on this subject, especially during Black History Month.
