I'm not going to watch the video, but I can honestly say, that there's a history here regarding Santa, AKA St. Nicolaus. We can pretend he's some made up character that's fine, but the man lived.

The current Santa traditions are based on him as a historical figure.

I'm not advocating or condemning any particular practice here, but having the facts is a good place to start.
