From: Tuscaloosa News:

The results of a large survey on U.S. Religion will be released Monday by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life.

This survey is one of the largest I've seen recently. It's based on more than 35,000 adult interviews conducted in English and Spanish. That's a lot of interviews, considering most surveys that I come across involve a sample size of 1,000 or so people.

The Pew Forum is calling it "a landmark survey that details the religious affiliation of the American public and explores the remarkable dynamism taking place in the U.S. religious marketplace."

The report is expected to include changes in religious affiliations and look at the relationship between religious affiliation and various demographic factors. It also includes state breakdowns.
